Colon cleansing has been encouraged most of the times due to its beneficial effects – the fact that you get rid of the toxins that were lying around in your colon, the fact that you remove a possible home for colon cancer and so on. Nevertheless, just as with any other procedure, there are a series of side effects which you should take into consideration if you are serious about your health. Living healthy does not mean only to do what is necessary for your body but to actually overcome any type of side effects, or in some time prevent them from actually happening. Colon cleanse side effects are not very serious, but they can become rather uncomfortable, reason for which you should try to avoid them. Minor colon cleanse side effects include – fatigue, weakness, bad breath or even acne. Obviously, the types of side effect that occur in one person will not be similar to side effects occurring in other people. Let us discuss about two ways through which you can overcome or prevent colon cleanse side effects.

Increase water intake – When you are doing a colon detox procedure, it would be wise to drink more water than usual in order to prevent any colon cleanse side effects. You see, any colon detox procedure requires great amounts of water and in some cases it would help to put more water in your system during that period. Maintaining electrolyte balance is easily done through a liquid diet – this means, more stews and soups, along with broths and about 10 glasses of water daily.
Exercising – Exercise can have a great effect on colon cleanse side effects. Exercising means that you will sweat which means you will remove a series of toxins from your body faster. However, if your colon detox method is making you feel weak, then you should skip this step.
